The scope and limitations of what SimEffi provides.

Using this site

This website is provided by SimEffi Inc. for general information about our services. By using it you agree to these terms.

Nature of the information provided

SimEffi produces preliminary building efficiency screens. Reports, estimates, scores, savings figures, incentive amounts and payback periods are screening estimates based on client-supplied data and stated assumptions.

  • SimEffi assessments are not energy audits under ASHRAE Level I, II or III.
  • SimEffi does not provide engineering, architectural, financial, legal or tax advice.
  • Nothing produced by SimEffi is stamped or sealed by a licensed professional engineer.
  • All figures must be validated before any procurement, financing or contractual decision.

Incentives and funding

Incentive figures are estimates. SimEffi does not submit applications on your behalf, does not guarantee eligibility and does not guarantee approval or payment of any incentive. Program rates, rules, budgets and intake windows change, and eligibility is determined solely by the relevant program administrator.

The estimator tool

The opportunity estimator on this site returns an orientation range from type-level assumptions. It is not an engineering estimate and should not be relied on for any decision.

No guarantee of savings

SimEffi does not guarantee energy savings, cost savings, equipment performance or project outcomes. Actual results depend on site conditions, occupancy, weather, utility rates, installation quality and factors outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SimEffi Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on any SimEffi report or estimate.

SimEffi, the SimEffi logo, SimEffi Score™ and SimEffi Incentive Action Plan™ are marks of SimEffi Inc. Site content may not be reproduced without permission.
